Thomas M. Hartwig

Thomas “Tom” Hartwig, 55, passed away surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Tom was a devoted son, a beloved brother, a cherished uncle, and a loyal friend whose kindness, wisdom, and generosity touched countless lives. He is Predeceased by his Mother Carolyn R. Hartwig. Survived by his Father John D. Hartwig Sr., his Brother John T. Hartwig of Rochester. Sister Jennifer (Chris) Howarth of Lantana. Nieces: Allexis, Ashley. Nephews: Ethan, Jacob, Dylan, Keith. He is also survived by his Dogs: Sophia and Matteo. 

A dedicated attorney, Tom spent his career advocating for others with integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment.

He treasured time spent with friends, always offering a listening ear, thoughtful advice, and a warm sense of humor. His presence brought comfort and strength to those around him.

Tom found his greatest joy in his beloved dogs, Sophie and Matteo, and Luigi and Giovanni, who held a special place in his heart and brought him immense pride and happiness.

Tom will be remembered for his compassionate spirit and the love he shared so freely. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. In Lieu of Flowers his family request donations to be made to the Humane Society in Thomas's name.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 12 at 3 PM at First Christian Church of Wilton Manors.
