Robert H. McDevitt

Robert “Bob” H. McDevitt, Jr. 73 of Oakland Park, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, December 6, 2018. A Florida resident since 1954, formerly from Dayton, Ohio. Robert was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Marine Corps. He is Survived by his Wife Jane, Daughters Mary Jane (Stanley) Lukas of Gainesville, FL, Amy L. McDevitt of Oakland Park, Sister Susan H. McDevitt, Bajamar, Mexico and Brother Peter H. McDevitt, Lake Placid, FL.  Bob was a Fort Lauderdale High School class of 1963 graduate and an active member of the Palm Aire Men’s Golf Association.  A Celebration of Robert’s life will be held Tuesday Dec. 11, 2018, 11AM at the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors, 2725 NE 14th Ave. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors.
