Rita A Zeman

Rita A. Zeman 97, of Wilton Manors died peacefully at Holy Cross Hospice on Wednesday September 25, 2019. A resident of Ft. Lauderdale for 65 years, Rita was born in Perrysburg, Ohio to Matilda and Sylvester Farmer on January 15, 1922. She grew up in a close-knit Irish Catholic family with 2 sisters and 3 brothers. An avid sports fan and, huge Miami Dolphin fan, Rita played golf regularly well into her 80’s. She is predeceased by her husband John R. Zeman, Jr., son John R. Zeman, III and grandson, Mark J. Moyano. She will be forever cherished by her daughters, Michele Alderson of Franklin, NC, Denice (James) Pelloni of Wilton Manors, Andre Boyd (Ted Parker) of Pompano Beach and son Philip Zeman (Cindy Mayfield) of Longwood, FL; grandchildren Aimee (Tommy Morris) Alderson, Scott (Tania Duncombe) Alderson, Michael (Sara) Moyano, Michele (Lance) Robinson, Mark’s wife, Tricia Moyano, Gary (Elana Gallant) Waldo, Zachary (Kelli Guenther) Zeman and Zane (Cheyenne Gulick) Zeman. Rita was further blessed with 10 awesome great-grandchildren who were the apple of her eyes. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday September 28, 2019 at 1:00PM at St. Clement Catholic Church.
