Mark Ullrich Angelo

Mark Ullrich Angelo lived a life marked by deep intentionality and entrepreneurial drive. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 21, 1964, Mark’s life came to a serene close as he passed away peacefully in his sleep—a departure long revered in Catholic tradition as a saintly grace, reflecting the quiet soul he was throughout his days. His death was preceded by his older sister Mary and his mother. Raised in the Chicago suburb of Oak Lawn by his cherished mother, the late Carol Lee Ullrich (nee), Mark learned the values of family and responsibility at an early age. He completed his early education at Brother Rice Catholic High School, where both his academic discipline and his foundational Catholic values were nurtured. Delivering morning newspapers and mowing neighborhood lawns as a young man, he developed a grounded work ethic and an instinct for stewardship. Mark's devotion to his mother remained a guiding compass throughout his life, instilling in him a capacity for deep loyalty and care that defined all his relationships. After graduating with a degree in Business from the University of Illinois Chicago Circle, Mark launched into a successful corporate career that took him around the globe. Yet, while he enjoyed international travel and corporate success, Mark’s spirit was inherently entrepreneurial. He possessed a sharp business mind and an eye for potential, leading him to acquire multiple real estate properties. For Mark, maintaining and restoring these homes was far more than an investment—it was a hands-on labor of love where he found profound personal purpose and creative fulfillment. Mark’s journey took a transformative turn when he left Chicago for Florida, relocating to live alongside his beloved sister Nancy (Lisa) for several years. This period of closeness reinforced their unbreakable bond before Mark moved to South Beach, where his personal and social life truly flourished. Surrounded by a devoted circle of friends, Mark embraced the vitality of ocean air, fitness, and community. Later, listening to an inner calling, he made his home in Wilton Manors, where he built an exceptionally vibrant life. Whether working on a home improvement project, staying active, or offering his time and energy to neighborhood efforts, Mark was an engaged, welcoming, and vital presence in his community. At the heart of Mark’s life was his love for self-improvement and self-discovery. His dedication to this defined his final era. His friends and family will forever remember the joy of gathering with him—eagerly listening to his latest business insights, property projects, and optimistic visions for the future. Mark is survived by his siblings—Donnie, Karen, Nancy and many nieces and nephews (Nancy: Lisa) and (Mary: Steve, Jackie, Jenny, and Susie)-  and lifelong friends who were blessed by his warmth and wisdom. He lived with purpose, loved with devotion, and returned home in ultimate peace. A funeral mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Churchnat 1701 East Oakland Park Blvd on Saturday September 5,2026 at 10:00am.
