Hilary Cornell Kanwischer

Hilary Cornell Kanwischer, age 54, passed away peacefully July 20,2022. Hilary was born April 29, 1968. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister and wife. Hilary proudly served as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of North Lauderdale for 27 years. Hilary leaves behind her Mother Judy, Husband Keith, Daughter Courtney, Son Conner, Brother Darryl and sister-in-law Debi, Brother David and sister-in-law Charlene, Sister Heather and Brother-in-law Nate along with their all of their children. Hilary is also remembered by hundreds of brother and sister firefighters in South Florida. Many people were touched by her kind soul and ability to express her feelings through craftwork. Hilary made a heroic battle against cancer for several years the same way in which she lived her life as a firefighter. I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one, I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
