Gary P. Cappellucci

Gary Paul Cappellucci 50, of Pompano Beach FL died suddenly on Friday January 1, 2021. Formerly from Cape Cod. Gary was enjoying the beach with family and friends when he noticed children being pulled out to sea by a rip current. He was able to save the children with assistants from other parents. He then succumbed, to being pulled out by the current. Gary is survived by his Wife Angel, Son: Zachary, Daughter: Summer, Brothers: Steven (Karen) Cappellucci 0f Yarmouthport, Mass. Mark (Pattie) Cappellucci of Worchester, Mass. Sisters: Nancy (John) Wood of Rotunda, Fl. Diane (Tim Ferreira) of Ormond Beach, FL. He is predeceased by his Parents Jesse and Jean Cappellucci, Sister Lori and Brother Brian. Gary was a Mason by trade and Volunteered Coaching Basketball at Pompano Beach Highschool, First Baptist Church of Pompano Beach, City of Oakland Park, City of Pompano Beach, Victory Travel Basketball, and a volunteer with the Broward County Schools. A celebration of Gary’s life will be Thursday January 7, 2020 at 2:00PM at the First Baptist Church of Pompano Beach 138 NE 1 Street. A Viewing will be held prior to Service from 12:30 to 2:00 PM.
