Emma Jean Speck

Emma Jean Speck, 90, of Wilton Manors, Florida passed away peacefully on July 14, 2022, following long and multiple illnesses. A long-time resident, she moved here from her New Jersey home at the age of 18. She married Harry Speck a year later and together they raised four children. Like so many of her generation, she was a devoted stay-at-home mom, active both in her church and with her extended family. She had a winning smile, loved gardening and made the best apple pie! She is survived by her children and their spouses - Kathy/Gabor, Nancy/Chuck, Glenn/Karen and Norman/Ana, and four grandchildren, Kara, Rachel, Michael, and Danielle. A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, July 20 at Lauderdale Memorial Park, 2001 SW 4 Ave, Ft Lauderdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse for the Blind.
