Russell John Lockwood

Russell John Lockwood, 90, Fort Lauderdale, FL, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 1, 2017. In 1955, Russ began a career in commercial and residential real estate, founding several companies, and continued going into the office virtually every day until he retired in 2014. A loving husband and father, Russ was predeceased by his wife, Violette. He’s survived by his son, Brian Russell Lockwood, of Tallahassee; and daughters Cheryl Ann (Archie) Pritchard of Chesapeake, VA., and Lisa Marie Lockwood of Gainesville, FL; and grandchildren Brian Christopher Lockwood; Curtis Smith, Catherine Parker, and Barbara Bialowas. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday November 9, 2017 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, N. Lauderdale.
