Mary Louise Salb

Mary Louise (Harrison) Salb, 1918-2017, 98 years old. Passed away at home in Pompano Beach, FL on February 13th, 2017. She left us quietly and peacefully to be with her sweetheart, Robert on Valentine’s Day. Mary retired from Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, DC and they moved to Florida. She loved to make others laugh, read, tell jokes, dance, do laundry, spend time with family and show off her impeccable memory. She was a devoted Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Friend. She is survived by daughter; Barbara Chovan of Florida, Grandchildren; Denise Lloyd of VA, Robert Chovan & Glenn Gorden of FL, Great-grandchildren; Aundrea Chichester of VA, Alexandria Chovan of FL, Andrew Gilliam of HI, Taylor Grantham-Chovan of FL and 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Grayson & Daniel and a host of Nieces, Nephews and dear friends. The family wishes to thank Hospice and her aides; Maxine and Angela for their loving care and devotion. Services will be Friday February, 17th at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Pompano Beach, viewing 10-11am, Mass 11am. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
