Christine Bryan Kenneth

Christine Bryan Kenneth, 95, passed away on October 8, 2015. Daughter of South Florida pioneers Frank A. and Faye Bryan. She graduated from Fort Lauderdale High in 1937 and attended Florida State College for Women in Tallahassee. She was an employee of Holy Cross Hospital for many years and retired in 1986. A portrait and landscape artist, she enjoyed spending time with her family, her cats and reading. She always remained close with her childhood friends and often recalled the early days of Fort Lauderdale. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years Fred K. Kenneth and her brother Francis William Bryan (Frank). She is survived by her sister, Dorothy E. Bryan; sons, Scott and Stephen, daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Stephanie, Derick and Nicole; and great granddaughter Dara; nephews Francis William Bryan, Jr. (Bill) and Michael Lee Bryan. A service will be held on October 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Florida Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donate to an animal shelter or better yet, adopt!
