Jeanne Fahey

December 18, 1933 — March 25, 2015

Jeanne Cashioli Fahey, 81, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2015. She was born on December 18, 1933 in Mingo Junction, Ohio. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, Dominic and Mildred Cashioli, brother Donald “Sookie” Cashioli, and sister, Judith Stroh. On October 1, 1955, she married the love of her life, her devoted husband, Bob. She is survived by Bob, son Craig, daughter Dana (Jerry), nephews Damon Cashioli and Dante Stroh and six grandsons: Patrick, Timmy, and Matthew Fahey, Christian, Derek, and Landon Petrisko. Jeanne had the most generous spirit and was a loving mother to not only her children and grandchildren, but to any child in need. She was also an animal-lover who gave stray cats and dogs a place to call home. She made a positive impact on the lives of everyone she touched. Because of the soft spot she had for both children and animals, she was “a voice for the voiceless” and inspired her grandsons to start a charity for abused and surrendered animals. In lieu of flowers, please consider a small donation to their non-profit organization, Wild Over Wildlife, or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, another cause that was near and dear to her heart. Jeanne will be sorely missed and heaven has gained another angel. A mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church 2511 N Ocean Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33305 on Tuesday, 10:30 am. Burial to follow at South Florida V.A.
