Robert Daniel Evans

Robert Evans 86 of Royal Palm Beach passed away on Monday February 25, 2013. Born in Chicago and raised in Westmont Il. He attended Downiers Grove High school. When WWII broke out he joined the Marines at the young age of 17. He was sent to the South Pacific where he was involved in many campaigns that resulted in many casualties. After the war ended he was stationed in China until he was discharged. Bob then joined the Reserves and served until 1950. He is survived by his wife Vera, who he has been married to since Nov. 28, 1947. He is also survived by his four beautiful children Pat Augustus, Stevan Evans, Rebecca (William) Buchanan and Bruce Evans, Predeceased by his son Bobby. Grandchildren: Ricki Ann (Michael) Nix, Diana (Tom) Taylor, Stevan Jr. Stacey, Michaelia Buchanan, Jennifer (Josh) Folsom, Sean Buchanan, Christopher & Andrea Evans. Great-grandchildren: Chad, Jacob, Jenna, Kayden, William. Visitation will be Friday March 1, 2013 10:00 -11:00AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of the latter day Saints. 990 Big Blue Trace, Wellington.
