James A. Chovan

James A. Chovan 49, of Oakland Park passed away suddenly on Saturday November 17, 2012. Jim recently retired after 25 years from the Ft. Lauderdale Fire Dept where he served as an EMT, Firefighter and Haz-Mat Driver Engineer earning many commendations for his service. He was a loving Father to his two Daughters; Alexandria Chovan; and Taylor Grantham; a caring Son to Barbara Chovan and Grandson to Mary Salb. Visitation will be held Monday November 26, 2012, 2-4 PM and 6-8PM, with a 6:30 pm Funeral Service at the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors- 2725 NE 14 Ave Wilton Manors FL. Funeral Procession will begin 10:30AM Tuesday November 27th at First Christian of Wilton Manors, ending at The Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S.
