Our lives change like the weather, but a legend never dies” Kevin McDevitt 57, of Ft. Lauderdale formerly from Bayonne, N.J., Died Saturday June 23, 2012. Kevin, a friend to everyone, started his career in 1976 as Manager of Yesterdays and worked for 30 years ending up at the Aruba’s restaurants (2006). He is survived by his mother Claire, Brothers K.C. and Kerry. Sisters Kim and Kelly. His 57 years of laughter and bounce will be missed, as the sun sets on Kevin’s beach where his chair sits empty and his books read. His U of M intelligence was only outdone by his wit and generosity to us all. A celebration of a life well lived is being held Monday July 9th, with a Memorial Service at 11am at the Community Church of LBTS. A celebration for Kevin will be held on the beach in front of Aruba & reception at The Village Pump & Aruba Beach Café.
